Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Second Shift Laboratory Technician to join our accredited commercial lab in Oregon.

The role involves preparing media and samples, operating basic instrumentation, and supporting quick, accurate data reporting to ensure an outstanding CX. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and can handle small vials and delicate equipment; strong reading of SOPs; basic algebra for calculations; and clear written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with small vials, test tubes and delicate laboratory equipment.
• Ability to apply basic algebraic concepts to perform basic laboratory calculations and accurately measure substances, liquids and/or solutions.
• Ability to read and apply established protocols and SOP’s to daily objectives.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.

Responsabilités

• Follow SOPs to support lab staff and ensure timely data reporting.
• Gather materials to prepare and analyze test samples.
• Sample receipt, login, storage and disposal.
• Prepare necessary standards, solutions, and media for analyses.
• Set up and operate basic laboratory equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and glassware cleaning and sterilization.
• Accurately record observations and data.
• Maintain logs and equipment records.
• Enter data into LIMS and review data.
• Support Personnel, Safety, and Quality Programs.
