Job summary

Valero Energy is seeking a Project Engineer for the Ethanol Plant (26001FN) to manage and engineer multiple projects while supporting plant operations. Responsibilities span from conception through completion, including capital, expense, and maintenance projects, with a focus on safety, cost, and schedule.

The role requires on-site work at the Bloomingburg/Bluffton/Mount Vernon plants, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years related engineering experience.
• Minimum of two years project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and engineer multiple projects from conception through completion, including development, design and execution of capital, expense and maintenance projects.
• Support, lead, and mentor site engineers on plant-specific projects.
• Develop and provide independent oversight of installation, startup and performance testing of multiple projects concurrently.

Education

Bachelor’s (or higher) in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Agricultural or Bio Systems Engineering
