Job summary
Valero Energy in Fort Dodge, IA is seeking a Controls Engineer for the ethanol plant to provide process control support and develop control system documentation. You will collaborate with engineers and IS staff to drive project success and maintain critical plant systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- Minimum of two years engineering experience required.
- Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.
Responsibilities
- Support Honeywell Experion DCS, Rockwell PlantPAx DCS, and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Develop project plans and collaborate with Plant/Process Engineers and IS.
- Maintain and modify control systems during normal operations and outages.
- Assist in developing control system specifications, P&IDs, and documentation.
- Participate in PHA, HAZOP and LOPA activities and ensure compliance.
- Support enterprise data tools and process data acquisition implementations.
