Job description

What you do:

The position of an ETF Regional VP is to increase sales of Allianz Investment Management (IM) ETF products within the territory through direct contact (in person, phone, and video conferencing) with financial professionals. This involves building relationships with "non-producing" Allianz financial professionals to utilize our ETF products and increasing existing Allianz ETF sales with current advisors. The individual will collaborate with business partners including External/Internal Annuity Retirement Consultants, Allianz Investment Management, Strategic Accounts, Distribution Sales Development, and Sales Supervision.

Building relationships and selling: Develop, grow, and retain relationships to drive ETF sales with financial professionals in an assigned territory through face-to-face, phone, and video wholesaling. This includes delivering ETF sales ideas, education, non-product value propositions to advisors, continuing education, retirement strategies presentations, portfolio construction, and FinTech demonstrations.

Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g., generative AI)

What you bring:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales within Financial Services, with proven sales ability and results. Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • High School diploma required.
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.

Preferred:

  • 4-5 years of sales experience in Financial Services with proven results.
  • Four-year degree preferred, ideally in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
  • Industry designations such as CFP, ChFC, or CIM are a plus.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring future immigration sponsorship (e.g., H1-B, L-1, TN). Applicants on CPT/OPT are ineligible.

Ability to manage travel (up to 50% of the time within the territory), potential evening and weekend functions, and comfort with phone and video presentations.

Territory: S. CA & Hawaii

Compensation: Base salary range $81,000 - $90,000 plus variable commissions based on sales performance.
