Job summary

Cetera Financial Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Investment Associate to execute trades and manage client portfolios across ETFs, mutual funds, and fixed income. You will work with the Investment Manager to implement strategies aligned with each client’s risk objectives.

The role is hybrid—2-3 days in the office near Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate has a finance-related degree, trader experience, and Series 65 license, with strong analytical and communication skills to navigate a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
Proven experience as a trader in a financial institution.
In-depth knowledge of financial markets, trading instruments, and asset classes.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
Proficiency in using trading software and platforms.
Excellent risk management and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of risk management principles and compliance regulations.
Series 65 license.

Responsibilities

Placing trades, raising cash for distributions, and implementing investment strategy.
Reviewing accounts weekly for tax harvesting, rebalancing, cash allocation, and replenishment.
Using trading platforms to execute orders efficiently.
Managing and optimizing trading portfolios within risk and compliance guidelines.
Staying informed about industry trends, regulations, and market developments.
Acting swiftly in response to market changes or portfolio updates.
Collaborating with the Investment Manager to improve processes or systems.
