Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Hollis, NH is seeking a Machine Operator - Etch Department to support etching operations in a cleanroom manufacturing setting. You will verify equipment, prepare chemicals, perform chemical changes with PPE, and inspect substrates using a Nikon microscope and Dektak system.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and MIL/IPC specs.
• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Able to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings.
• US Citizenship or permanent residency per ITAR policy.

Responsibilities

• Verify etching equipment is in proper working condition before using.
• Make-up all etching chemicals per routings and manufacturing procedures.
• Chemical change-overs using proper PPE
• Inspect substrates for proper photoresist quality prior to etching.
• Touch up intricate images, holes, slots using a hand/foot dispenser and microscope.
• Wet etch substrates using manual and automated methods.
• Verify critical dimensions (CD’s) on substrates as required using Nikon microscope system.
• Tape test or otherwise inspect etched substrates to ensure quality etching.
• Strip photoresist from substrates and inspect 100% for complete cleanliness.
• Operate Dektak metal thickness measurement system
