Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our welding and metal fabrication team. You will analyze CAD/SolidWorks drawings, review scope, materials, labor, and lead times, and prepare proposals with labor, materials, and overhead.

Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure estimates reflect project requirements. The role demands strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects, and drive cost-effective, timely execution in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of estimating or project management in welding/fabrication.
• Strong shop math, measurement systems, and layout techniques.
• Ability to read CAD/SolidWorks drawings; drawing manipulation preferred.
• Knowledge of welding and sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Experience with JobBOSS ERP is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and accurate.
• Prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Support project planning and scheduling to promote timely and cost-effective project execution.
• Manage multiple estimating projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Maintain accurate project and estimating documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment.

• Experience working with ERP systems, particularly JobBOSS, is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
