Job summary

Harrison, Walker & Harper seeks an Estimator to join Rodgers Wade’s team in Paris, Texas. The role analyzes blueprints, specifications, and documents to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of estimating experience in construction, manufacturing, or retail, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Estimator or in a related field.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience interfacing with cross-functional teams and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.
• Computes cost factors and prepares estimates for planning, bids, and vendor selection.
• Develops standard hour data and cost reduction opportunities.
• Consults with clients, vendors to discuss and finalise estimates.
• Maintains a centralized cost estimating database and processes.
• Ensures historical data is utilized in estimates.
