Tutor Perini Corporation in New Rochelle, NY seeks an Estimator – Quantities Takeoff to perform detailed quantity take-offs, review plans, and support bid submissions for major civil projects. You will coordinate with the estimating team to ensure accurate bids and compliance with all requirements.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or Construction Management, at least five years in heavy civil estimating, and proficiency with HCSS Heavy Bid, Blue Beam, Excel, Primavera P6 and SmartBid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years in heavy civil construction with a General Contractor.
• 3 years in estimating is required.
• Proficient with HCSS Heavy Bid, Blue Beam, Excel, Primavera P6 and SmartBid.

Responsibilities

• Review contract plans, specs and other documents for bid items.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for bid items.
• Identify general requirements and special conditions.
• Submit RFIs and RFCs and log them accordingly.
• Prepare bid schedule and assist with bid/ proposal documents.
• Identify D/M/WBE requirements and prepare GFE using SmartBid.
