Job summary

IRONCLAD Powered by Mersino is hiring an Estimator to provide technical estimating, pricing, and proposals for pumping and dewatering projects, rentals, and equipment sales. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and branch teams to assess customer needs, define scope, and develop accurate estimates.

Large/Complex projects are owned by Engineering, while Estimator develops costs and customer-facing proposals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of estimating, construction, engineering, equipment rental, or related technical field.
• Experience with pumping, dewatering, temporary pumping systems, or equipment rental.
• Experience with conceptual and/or self-perform estimating.
• Field or construction experience.
• Experience with estimating software and ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for inbound client calls; gather project info and qualify opportunities.
• Manage opportunities from qualification to quotation and handoff.
• Review drawings, specs, bid docs to define scope.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits to identify conditions and risks.
• Develop quantities, preliminary scopes, and estimating inputs for pumping and dewatering.
• Prepare customer quotations, RFQ/RFP responses, and bid docs.
• Support project handoff and provide estimating support during execution.
