Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Estimator to oversee ground up and tenant improvement projects for a General Contractor serving educational, healthcare, and office sectors. You will lead cost analysis across labor, materials, and time, assembling proposals, and driving take-offs in a collaborative preconstruction team.

With 4+ years in estimating and a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field, you will contribute to budgets, reviews, and trend analyses while advancing

Responsibilities

• Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Prepare estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Present prepared estimates with numerical and descriptive information.
• Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Perform conceptual, schematic, and design development budgets.
• Review plans for consistency and accuracy.
• Manage all levels of take-offs while applying unit prices.
• Collaborate with the preconstruction team to bid jobs.
• Develop into a leader within the estimating team.

Description

Profile

• 4+ years of estimating experience, preferably at a commercial GC
