Novax Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join a growing miscellaneous steel firm on Long Island, NY. You will lead from estimating through installation, ensuring competitive bids and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong knowledge of architectural metalwork, excellent reading of drawings, and the ability to coordinate with detailers, fabricators and installers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating and/or project management experience.
• Experience in miscellaneous metals or architectural metalwork.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documents.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial steelwork and architectural projects.
• Perform digital quantity takeoffs and review drawings, specs, and tender packages.
• Manage projects from bid to fabrication, installation and completion.
• Coordinate with detailers, fabricators, subcontractors and installation teams.
• Use estimating software to prepare bids within deadlines.
• Monitor progress and manage multiple priorities on ongoing commercial projects.
• Collaborate with the team and own your workload.
