This is more than a support role - it’s a growth opportunity. The right individual will gain hands‑on experience across estimating, preconstruction, and project management, with a clear path toward becoming a Project Manager.

We’re looking for someone who is motivated, detail‑oriented, and ready to help raise the bar as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to fully understand project scope
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in developing accurate budgets
  • Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor bids
  • Identify scope gaps, overlaps, and potential risks
  • Support proposal development and bid strategy
  • Work across a variety of project types, including property management, tenant improvements, and ground‑up construction
Project Coordination
  • Support Project Managers with day‑to‑day project execution
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
  • Track schedules, budgets, and overall project progress
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects moving forward
Project Setup & Handoff
  • Help ensure scopes, budgets, and expectations are clearly defined prior to project kickoff
  • Support procurement and early‑stage planning
  • Assist in the transition from estimating to operations to ensure a smooth and efficient handoff
Field & Client Interaction
  • Visit jobsites to understand project conditions, progress, and challenges
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure expectations are being met
  • Communicate with clients and subcontractors as needed
  • Support follow‑up efforts and contribute to maintaining strong client relationships
What Success Looks Like
  • Accurate estimates aligned with actual project costs
  • Strong bid‑hit ratio - winning the right work
  • Reduced scope gaps and change orders
  • Clean, organized, and efficient project handoffs
  • Increased efficiency by freeing up Project Manager capacity
Ideal Candidate
  • 2–5 years of construction experience (estimating, field, or project coordination)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and understand how projects come together
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Self‑starter who can take ownership and “run with it”
  • Motivated to grow into a Project Manager role
