Job summary

Federal Heath is seeking an Estimator/Production Manager for our Racine, WI team. You will estimate costs for screen printing, retail signage, or digital imaging, and plan production routing to ensure on-time manufacturing.

The role requires 3–5 years in estimating and production planning, strong math and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for Lean training.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience in screen printing/ digital imaging estimating and production planning.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, procedures; write reports and communicate clearly.
• Strong math skills: proportions, percentages, geometry, and basic algebra.

Responsibilities

• Estimate costs for screen printing, retail signage, or digital imaging production.
• Analyze sketches, drawings, specifications, proposals to prepare time, cost, labor, and material estimates.
• Plan production routing to ensure timeliness and accuracy of manufacturing orders.
• Serve as liaison between Account Managers and manufacturing to ensure order accuracy.
• Create bill of materials and routing for estimates and release of manufacturing orders.
• Compute cost estimates and price summaries for jobs; present prepared estimates.
• Coordinate with suppliers for material pricing and secure outside vendor quotes.
• Maintain knowledge through workshops and Lean courses.
