Position Overview

The Estimator for Multifamily Construction will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and resources required for various multifamily construction projects, including apartments and podium-style developments. The role involves collaborating with project managers and architects to ensure accurate bids and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects including apartments and podium structures.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bidding.
• Review and interpret construction documents and specifications to ensure accurate estimates.
• Monitor project costs and prepare budget reports throughout the construction process.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and construction methods to provide the most accurate estimates.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, specifically in multifamily projects.
• Strong knowledge of multifamily construction methods including wood frame and podium structures.
