Foundry, a luxury home builder in Miami, seeks an Estimator to join its growing team. This role supports preconstruction through handover to construction, focusing on budgets, takeoffs, and subcontractor bidding for high-end residential projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in luxury residential construction with strong estimating and drawing interpretation skills, coordinating with architects, suppliers and owners throughout the process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction experience.
• Experience on high-end residential or luxury custom home projects.
• Estimating, preconstruction or Project Engineer experience.
• Ability to perform construction takeoffs and understand project budgets.
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Comfortable communicating with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets and detailed construction estimates.

• Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Compare proposals and identify scope gaps.
• Assist with subcontractor negotiations and project buyout.

An established luxury custom home builder in Miami is looking for an Estimator to join its growing team.

This is an opportunity to work on some of South Florida's most impressive custom homes, supporting projects from the earliest stages of preconstruction through to handover to the construction team.

We're looking for someone with experience in luxury residential construction who understands estimating, takeoffs and subcontractor bidding. You could currently be working as an Estimator, Preconstruction Engineer, Project Engineer or APM – we're more interested in your experience than your current job title.

The Role

• Prepare budgets and detailed construction estimates
• Complete quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings
• Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier bids
• Compare proposals and identify scope gaps
• Assist with subcontractor negotiations and project buyout
• Review drawings for constructability and potential cost savings
• Work closely with architects, consultants, subcontractors and ownership
• Maintain current subcontractor pricing and cost information
• Prepare projects for a smooth handover to Project Managers and Superintendents
• Support permitting and procurement where required
