Job summary

Allegiance Group is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its growing South Florida preconstruction team in Miami. You will own major pursuits from concept through final bid on high-value projects across luxury hospitality, high-rise residential, mixed-use, healthcare and infrastructure.

You will lead estimates across multiple trades, produce detailed cost plans, and support procurement and subcontractor buyout after awards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' estimating experience with a General Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, schematic, design development and final bid estimates on complex commercial construction projects.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing across structural, civil, architectural and specialist trades.
• Produce comprehensive cost plans covering labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, general conditions and contingencies.
• Analyse project risks, value engineering opportunities and pricing strategies.
• Manage subcontractor tendering, bid levelling and scope comparisons.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits and constructability reviews.
• Support procurement and subcontractor buyout following successful project awards.

I'm partnered with a leading international General Contractor that's continuing to grow its South Florida preconstruction team. With a strong pipeline of luxury hospitality, high-rise residential, mixed-use, healthcare, commercial and infrastructure projects, they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established preconstruction team of 25, where you'll take ownership of major pursuits from concept through final bid, helping secure projects valued from tens of millions to several hundred million dollars.

• Lead conceptual, schematic, design development and final bid estimates on complex commercial construction projects.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing across structural, civil, architectural and specialist trades.
• Produce comprehensive cost plans covering labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, general conditions and contingencies.
• Analyse project risks, value engineering opportunities and pricing strategies.

They're looking for someone with:

• 6+ years' estimating experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience pricing large commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of self-performed structural, concrete and civil/site works.
• The ability to estimate across multiple trades rather than specialising in a single discipline.
• Experience preparing complete bid packages from concept through submission.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, On-Screen Takeoff or similar estimating software.
