Core & Main, a leader in infrastructure solutions, is seeking an Estimator II for the Critical Infrastructure Group. You will perform detailed material quantity takeoffs for standard to moderately complex projects and support bid efforts with engineers, sales, and pre-bid teams.

You’ll interpret drawings, specs, and notes to determine material requirements, collaborate with vendors and contractors, and mentor junior staff as you develop stronger plan-reading and takeoff accuracy.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years estimation experience in water or critical infrastructure.
• Experience performing detailed material quantity takeoffs from plans.
• Strong understanding of civil and mechanical infrastructure systems.
• Experience with contractors or vendors preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred in CM/Engineering.

Aufgaben

• Perform material quantity takeoffs for standard and moderately complex projects.
• Interpret drawings and specs to determine material requirements.
• Prepare scopes and material lists for sales and customers.
• Collaborate with Pre-Bid, engineering and sales to clarify scope.
• Mentor Estimator I personnel over time.
