Bosch Building Technologies North America is hiring an Estimator II for structured cabling projects in Austin, Texas. This role will involve maximizing the award of profitable contracts while working closely with the Sales, Design, and Project Management teams to ensure high-quality service.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of design experience and up to 5 years in technical fields, alongside strong analytical skills. This position offers a hybrid work model with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of design and estimation experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in low voltage system installation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost budgets based on specifications and drawings.
• Work with Engineering, Sales, and PMO to develop cost estimates.
• Maintain technical knowledge through workshops and publications.

Skills

Design and estimation experience in information technology and structured cabling systems

Strong computer skills

Understanding of network infrastructure

Ability to handle multiple tasks

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

Post-secondary education in electronics or equivalent
