Job summary

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of home-building estimating experience or a Bachelor’s in Construction Management, with strong skills in reading architectural plans, 3D BIM, and takeoffs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Construction Management or 1–3 years home-building estimating experience.
- Strong knowledge of architectural plans, details, section views, and takeoffs.
- Proficient in 3D BIM and estimating software.
- Ability to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and unit pricing.
- Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to incorporate into estimates.
Responsibilities
- Process job cost estimates for single-family housing units from BIM data.
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and unit pricing.
- Identify cost-saving techniques, materials, and procedures.
- Perform cost comparison and analysis as requested.
- Create and maintain formulas and estimating databases for accuracy.
