Job summary

Bauer Foundation Corp. is seeking an Estimator to join our growing team. The Estimator prepares comprehensive estimates for lump sum and time-and-material contracts, reviews bid specs and drawings, and communicates with clients to refine proposals and win bids.

This full-time role is based in Atlanta, GA, with occasional travel for pre-bid meetings and site visits. This position requires 2–3 years of experience in deep foundations or heavy civil works, strong MS Office skills, and ideally

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
2–3 years’ experience in deep foundations or heavy civil works.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Ability to read, interpret, and organize construction plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

Foster relationships with key clients.
Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers.
Attend on-site pre-bid/proposal conferences and site visits.
Develop and review subcontractor scopes of work; analyze quotes for best value.
Prepare bid status reports and ensure compliance with specifications and contract SOWs.
