Job summary

gpac is seeking a Civil Estimator focused on excavation and earthwork near Louisville, KY. The role emphasizes estimating for civil earthwork, cost control, and preparation of bid packages for design-bid-build projects.

The ideal candidate will bring experience with excavation, grading, utilities, and deep foundation work, along with strong communication and organization skills to support project teams and client relations.

Qualifications

• BS degree preferred in Construction Management or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Estimating experience geared to Civil Earthwork projects such as Excavation, Grading, Utilities, Drilling, Pile Driving, Deep Foundations, Marine or similar.
• Knowledge of HCSS for cost estimating (training provided if not proficient).
• Experience compiling relevant documents and data and preparing internal bid review documents & bid proposals.
• Must be well organized, self motivated, reliable, detail oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal & customer relations skills.
• Excellent computer skills and written & verbal communication skills necessary.

Our client is a large Heavy, Civil and Geotechnical Construction client with 40+ North American locations and lots of growth potential. The position is located near Louisville, KY.
