Qualifications
- 3–5 years estimating experience required or strongly preferred.
- BS/BA in engineering, construction science, architecture, or related discipline.
- Familiarity with construction materials, means, and methods.
- Strong math and technology ability with an analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in estimating and quantity take-off software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity/cost take-offs and estimates.
- Clarify assumptions and gather missing data from design professionals.
- Distribute bid documents and review proposals from subs/vendors.
- Identify onerous requirements in specs and build vendor relationships.
