Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting has partnered with a premier drywall contractor in Northern California seeking a Commercial Drywall Estimator. You will bid on high-value projects and help develop accurate cost proposals for divisions including drywalls and metal stud framing.

You'll collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and clients, using On-Screen Takeoff to perform quantity takeoffs and cost analyses, ensuring competitive bids and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator in commercial drywall or plaster.
• Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff software.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial drywall/division 9 packages over $1MM.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analyses using On-Screen Takeoff.
• Analyze drawings and specs to prepare bid proposals.
• Maintain supplier/subcontractor relationships for competitive pricing.

Position: Commercial Drywall Estimator

The Opportunity:

Join an established industry leader specializing in high-end commercial projects. As their Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in bidding on significant projects valued at over $1MM, focusing on metal stud framing, and drywall systems..

What You'll Do:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial drywall/division 9 packages exceeding $1MM.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather essential project details.
• Utilize On-Screen Takeoff Software to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to ensure comprehensive bid proposals.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial drywall and/or commercial plaster sector.
• Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff Software is essential.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines.
