Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. in partnership with a leading Northern California drywall contractor, seeks a Commercial Drywall Estimator.

In this role you will prepare competitive estimates for projects exceeding $1MM, focusing on metal stud framing and drywall systems, and work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors. You will use On-Screen Takeoff software to perform takeoffs, analyze drawings, and secure accurate bids.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator in commercial drywall and/or commercial plaster.
• Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial drywall/division 9 packages over $1MM.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather project details.
• Utilize On-Screen Takeoff Software to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to ensure comprehensive bid proposals.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
