Job summary

CyberCoders in Milwaukee area is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team focused on custom and semi-custom homes. You will prepare detailed estimates, analyze blueprints, and collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate bids.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of residential estimating experience, a degree in a related field is preferred, and strong Excel and estimating software skills. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience in residential construction, single-family homes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for custom and semi-custom home projects from plans and specs.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and documents to estimate time, cost, materials, and labor.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather information for estimates.
• Review and adjust estimates based on project changes or client requests.
• Maintain a database of historical costs to inform future estimates and improve accuracy.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and bid presentations to convey estimate details.
