Job summary

KMF Construction Corp in the NYC area is seeking an experienced Concrete & Masonry Estimator to review project specs, perform material takeofs, and prepare detailed cost estimates for upcoming projects. The role is in-person, based in Nyack, NY or at our Midtown Manhattan satellite office.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, conducting takeoffs, preparing proposals, managing pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions, and assisting with addendum pricing.

Qualifications

• Proficient in estimating software and tools used in construction (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift).
• Must have knowledge of concrete, masonry, and fireproofing.
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, or a recent Construction Management graduate.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.

Salary Range: Salary range $125,000–$170,000 (Dependent on experience)
