We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, specifically in multi-family and mixed-use developments. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure that all aspects of the project are accounted for in the bid process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and architects to determine project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and analyze labor, material, and overhead costs.
• Prepare and submit detailed and comprehensive bid proposals to clients.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the most competitive pricing for materials and services.
• Track and manage project costs during the preconstruction phase to ensure budget compliance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of estimating processes and tools.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction, with a focus on multi-family and mixed-use projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
