Job description: The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects within the building and construction industry. This role requires strong analytical skills and a detail‑oriented approach to ensure successful project execution.
Base pay range
$144,000.00/yr - $176,000.00/yr
Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for property construction projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals for accuracy and cost‑efficiency.
- Identify potential cost‑saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and project costs for future reference.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Track market trends and pricing to provide accurate and competitive estimates.
Profile
- Experience submitting $100M+ estimates.
- Proficiency in construction cost estimating software and tools.
- Strong understanding of property construction processes and materials.
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proven track record of delivering accurate and timely estimates.
