Job description

This position will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of commercial construction project proposals and bids. Identify and compute labor, material, and time costs by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and other bid documents.

Requirements :

oExcellent written and verbal communication skills.

oStrong problem-solving and analytical skills

oStrong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented

oStrong working knowledge of estimating software like Timberline, OST and MC2

oWorking knowledge of programs such as Primavera (P6), Bluebeam, Synchro, Excel, and Word

oWell-rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplines

o1-5 years of previous commercial construction experience with public, private or federal projects is required

Degree – Construction Management or Engineering

oVisit project and pre-bid meetings to understand site conditions / scope.

oReview plans and specifications.

oProvide accurate take-off.

oWork with estimating team to build the estimate and pricing.

oDevelop a preliminary schedule.
