Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
• Location: in office 100% in Chaska, MN (must currently live in MN)
• Type: Direct hire with full benefits
• Pay: $70K-$100K depending on experience level + bonus potential based on company and individual performance + full benefits

Duties:

• Oversee weekly bid list review to ensure focus on high-value opportunities and prioritize preferred clients.
• Analyze project plans and specs to prepare accurate estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and other costs.
• Review change orders, RFIs, ASIs, DCNs, and scope modifications to maintain estimate accuracy.
• Perform precise blueprint take-offs to capture competitive and compliant scope of work.
• Evaluate scope and bidding instructions to ensure complete, risk-aware proposals.
• Follow established bid review procedures and revise submissions as necessary.
• Collaborate with Senior and Chief Estimators to assess bid margins and recommend adjustments.
• Support Project Managers with bid submittal documentation as needed.

Requirements:

• Technical Degree, Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a Degree in Construction Management or similar
• Minimum of 2+ years of construction estimating experience, preferrably in the commercial space
• Base knowledge of document editing software i.e., BlueBeam, Adobe Acrobat, Plan Grid, Plexxis. Proficient in MS 365.
• Industry knowledge in Drywall, Steel Stud Metal Framing, Paint, and EFIS.
• Basic presentation skills
• Ability to read and comprehend complex construction documents i.e., blueprints
• Technology savvy
