Job summary

LeoForce, a construction firm in Chesapeake, VA, seeks an experienced Estimator to develop detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid packages for K-12 and public works projects. You will review drawings and specs to shape accurate scopes and pricing strategies and evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure competitive proposals.

You will collaborate with Project Managers during preconstruction to support budgeting, value engineering, and award transitions, leveraging Excel and specialized

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator on commercial construction projects, with K 12 and public works exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of public bid requirements, prevailing wage, and government procurement processes.
• Proficiency in takeoff and estimating software, along with strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills in a deadline driven environment.
