Job summary

D2 Industrial Services in Kent, WA, is seeking an Estimator & Business Development professional to grow our scaffolding division. You will lead estimating from concept through completion and also actively develop new business, building relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in scaffolding estimating and construction business development, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Viewpoint and Sutor

Qualifications

• Proven experience in scaffolding or soft craft estimating.
• Strong background in construction business development.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Professional education and/or experience in construction or relevant industries.
• Thorough understanding of estimating and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new project leads and client relationships.
• Analyze and evaluate project plans, specifications, scope, and requirements to prepare a bid.
• Prepare conceptual estimates and budgets.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and develop bid packages.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and scope coverage.
• Attend job walks, pre-bid meetings, and planning sessions.
• Provide value engineering and cost-saving solutions.
