Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking an Estimator II to provide accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail, and mechanic work across assigned auction areas. You’ll communicate estimates to multiple teams to kick off work and help ensure precise pricing of parts with procurement.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or higher, 3+ years of related experience (or 1 year with higher education), and proficiency in MS Outlook/Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience, or any degree/certification beyond high school with 1 year of experience, or 5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area or areas.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail, and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning, and other teams as required to initiate work.
• Works with procurement/purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required by estimates.
• Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation, and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
• Keeps records of repair/reconditioning details and completes necessary paperwork.
• Visibly demonstrates a commitment to safety by following all safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors.
• Actively participates in and supports all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence

MSCOX

USD 20.00 - 30.00 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $20.00 - $30.00/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
