Job summary

Martin Concrete Construction is seeking a driven Assistant Estimator in Kennesaw, GA to join our estimating team on commercial concrete projects across the country.

You will assist with takeoffs, prepare bids, review drawings, coordinate with estimators, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and customers while developing your estimating expertise for a long-term career in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous estimating assistance experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist estimators with quantity takeoffs and bid preparation.
• Review drawings, plans, specs, and documents to determine requirements.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and other project costs.
• Solicit bids from subcontractors and vendors and organize proposals.
• Use MS Office and estimating software to support activities.
• Assist with project durations and schedules.
