The Building People is seeking a qualified Construction Estimator to prepare and analyze costs for government facility construction and repair projects in Washington, D.C. This role involves developing accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, managing the tendering process, and coordinating with engineers and contractors.

The Building People, LLC seeks a qualified Construction Estimator to prepare, estimate, and analyze costs for government facility construction and repair projects. The Estimator develops accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment; reads and interprets construction schemes and drawings; manages the tendering and bidding process; and coordinates with engineers, architects, owners, and contractors on feasibility studies. The Estimator also establishes and maintains cost monitoring and reporting systems, maintains a directory of suppliers and subcontractors, manages and coordinates construction projects, and prepares construction progress schedules.
