Job summary

American Edge Partners in the United States is seeking a Civil Estimator with hands-on underground utility experience to own the numbers from first takeoff to final bid. You will independently perform quantity takeoffs, price labor/material/equipment and prepare detailed bid proposals for private developers, collaborating with PMs and field teams to align estimates with production.

We are a well established civil construction firm serving private developers across large-scale residential, multifamily, and apartment complex projects. Our work spans underground utilities, excavation, and concrete operations — and we need an estimator who can own the numbers from first takeoff to final bid.

The Role

We're looking for a Civil Estimator with hands-on experience in underground utility construction. This is a full-scope estimating position — you'll price projects independently and handle your own takeoffs from day one.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of civil estimating experience with a focus on underground utilities
• Proficiency with estimating software — Bid2Win, Agtek, or similar platforms
• Ability to perform independent takeoffs and build complete project pricing without heavy oversight
• Strong understanding of excavation, site utilities (water, sewer, storm), and concrete operations
• Experience working with private developers, including large residential and multifamily/apartment projects
• Sharp eye for detail, solid math skills, and comfort reading civil plans and specification
