Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Construction Estimator in Texas to deliver detailed estimates from concept through bid completion. You will lead quantity takeoffs, solicit bids from subcontractors, level bids, analyze scope, and develop budgets for competitive proposals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of commercial construction estimating, strong technical knowledge of means and methods, and proficiency with Timberline, OST, Procore, MS Project, and Excel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial construction estimating experience.
• Strong quantity takeoff and quantity survey experience.
• Experience soliciting and leveling subcontractor/vendor bids.
• Ability to identify scope gaps, exclusions, and risk factors.
• Experience developing conceptual, schematic, and hard bid estimates.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience developing project schedules, crew productions, and durations.
• Proficiency with Timberline, OST, Procore, MS Project, and Excel/Microsoft Office.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
• Design-Build project experience.

Responsible for preparing detailed and accurate construction estimates from concept through bid completion. Leads quantity takeoffs, subcontractor/vendor solicitation, bid leveling, scope analysis, budget development, and proposal strategy while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams to deliver competitive and complete project proposals.
