Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects based on specifications, drawings, and other documentation.
• Analyze project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Review and validate estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Work closely with the Sales to develop project budgets and timelines.
• Ensure that all estimates comply with company standards and client requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.

Job Summary

The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects involving commercial doors and hardware. This role involves analyzing project specifications, collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring that all estimates align with company standards and client requirements. Reporting directly to the Project Services Manager, the Estimator plays a crucial role in securing new business and maintaining profitability.
