Wynn Site Development, Inc. is seeking a skilled estimator with civil engineering expertise for large, multidisciplinary projects in Raleigh, NC. The role requires leading a team of estimators, developing accurate cost totals, and reviewing bid packages to manage risk.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and 5–10 years of construction experience, with advanced software skills for estimating and project planning.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of construction industry experience.
• Advanced computer skills with estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate with estimators to develop a large multidisciplinary estimate.
• Determine labor and equipment costs.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
• Review bid documents and assess project risks.
• Understand project logistics and project schedule.
• Prepare bid packages; compare and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Review quotes and estimates with the Project Management Team.
• Prepare estimates at different levels of completion.
• Assist with certain post-bid buyouts.

Job description

• Review project plans, requirements and specifications.
• Have demonstrated leadership abilities to coordinate with a team of estimators to develop a large
  multidisciplinary estimate.
• Determine labor and equipment costs.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
• Review and understand all bid documents and assess project risks.
• Understand project logistics and project schedule.
• Prepare bid packages. Compare and analyze competitive subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Review quotes and estimates with the Project Management Team.
• Prepare estimates at different levels of completion
• Assist with certain post-bid buyouts.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned Qualifications
• 4 year degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• 5 – 10 years of construction industry experience
• Advanced computer skills with estimating software
• Advanced computers skills with MS Office, MS Project, Carlson Software,B2W, Estimating Software, Agtek
• Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles
• Well organized, flexible, detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
• Prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines while constantly changing tasks and
  demands
• Excellent written and oral communicator
