Job summary

Azuria Water Solutions seeks an Estimator to join our team in Orleans, IN. You will review plans, perform takeoffs, solicit quotes, and prepare competitive cost estimates for underground utility projects including water mains, sewer, and storm drainage.

The role requires 3+ years of estimating experience, strong reading of drawings, and proficiency in Excel and estimating software. On-site work with collaborative project teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in underground utilities or heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of water, sewer, storm drainage, and utility installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and drawings.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and estimating software; InEight Estimate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for underground utility projects.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and bid proposals.
• Analyze labor, equipment, and material costs.
• Coordinate with project managers, field personnel, and vendors.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information.
• Assist with project handoff and startup after contract award.
