Job summary

Focus Manufacturing Services in Ogden, Utah is seeking a full-time Estimator to join our team. Estimators evaluate customer drawings and specifications and generate estimates/quotes, working directly with sales, production, and the customer to develop quotes.

Responsibilities include creating bid proposals, coordinating with purchasing for material costs, managing outside vendor relations, coatings, heat treatment, and plating, and regularly reviewing job costing to improve estimating accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication, welding, and machining is REQUIRED.
• Proficient at reading and interpreting GD&T
• Experience estimating AS9100D projects preferred
• Previous experience estimating in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience collaborating and managing outside processes such as coatings, heat treatment, anodizing and plating
• Experience working with SolidWorks
