Join a global manufacturing leader and play a key role in delivering accurate, competitive cost estimates for custom manufacturing and packaging solutions.

This position partners closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Production to develop detailed estimates that drive profitable business decisions and successful project execution.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for custom manufacturing and packaging projects.
• Convert engineering drawings into detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Calculate material, labor, machine time, routing, tooling, overhead, and production costs.
• Create and maintain product builders and costing models within the ERP system.
• Develop manufacturing routings and labor standards for production planning.
• Estimate machine run times, work center costs, and production layouts.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Finance, Production, and Sales to ensure accurate pricing and project readiness.
• Work with sourcing teams to validate material pricing and availability.
• Develop should‑cost models to improve estimating speed and accuracy.
• Continuously improve estimating processes, BOM accuracy, and ERP functionality.
• Prepare reports on estimating accuracy, lead times, and costing performance.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of estimating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience creating cost estimates from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing routings, and labor standards.
• Experience using ERP systems for estimating and product configuration.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.

Preferred

• Experience in custom manufacturing or packaging.
• Knowledge of should‑cost modeling.
• Experience with machine time studies, production flow, and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Experience supporting low‑volume, high‑mix manufacturing environments.
