A well-established construction management and general contracting firm is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join its growing team in the New York metro area.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bid process for CM and GC projects
• Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipment
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals
• Develop bid packages, scopes of work, and purchase orders
• Review plans/specifications for completeness and pricing accuracy
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
• Attend client, subcontractor, and project meetings as needed
• Analyze completed projects to compare estimated vs. actual costs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction
• Experience in interiors, healthcare, or hospitality projects preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial construction drawings/specifications
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Experience with PlanSwift and Procore preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
