Job summary

New York Green Roofs in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an Estimator to join our hybrid, full-time team. You will develop quantity takeoffs, read plans, and analyze costs for green roof projects as part of our preconstruction efforts.

We value curiosity and strong construction fundamentals. You will collaborate with leadership and vendors to ensure accurate bids and growth within NYC’s green infrastructure market.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating or preconstruction.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.

You Might Be Coming From:

• Assistant Estimator, Project Engineer, APM, or Field Supervisor
• Landscape, Civil, Roofing, or Waterproofing Contractor
• Another commercial construction specialty

What You'll Learn

• Over time, you'll take increasing ownership of our Bid-Build estimating process.
