Quality Enterprises is seeking an Assistant Estimator to analyze project information for budgets, bids, and proposals under supervision. Responsibilities include evaluating proposals, attending pre-bid meetings, estimating costs, and producing proposals for clients and project managers.

The role requires 2 years of estimating experience or a bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with estimating software such as HCSS or Bid2Win, plus proficient use of O365 and Adobe Acrobat.

Formación

• 2 years of estimating experience or a bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of construction practices and procedures.
• Working knowledge of estimating software, such as HCSS, Bid2Win, or similar.
• Proficient in O365 and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with utilities, storm piping, and FDOT specifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in construction related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

Quality Enterprises is looking for an Estimator to join our team. Under the oversight ofan estimator, the primary responsibility of Quality Enterprise’s Assistant Estimator is to analyze and interpret project information in the assembly of budgets, bids, and proposals.

Essential Functions

• Evaluate proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits.
• Estimate time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to determine overall cost for construction projects.

Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications

• 2 years of estimating experience or a bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of construction practices and procedures.
• Working knowledge of estimating software, such as HCSS, Bid2Win, or similar.
• Proficient in O365 and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with utilities, storm piping, and FDOT specifications preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
