ABOUT THE ROLE
- Driving the Bid Process: You’ll manage everything from initial bid logs to the final assembly of comprehensive bid packages, ensuring our proposals are the most professional in the room.
- Deep‑Dive Analysis: You’ll perform precise quantity take‑offs and conduct thorough "bid leveling" to ensure our subcontractor partners are providing complete scope coverage.
- Strategic Value Engineering: I need someone who can identify creative cost‑saving opportunities that maintain project quality while maximizing value for the client.
- Relationship Building: You’ll be the face of the firm to our subcontractor network, soliciting bids and building the long‑term partnerships that make our projects possible.
- Project Transition: You’ll lead the hand‑off to the Project Management team, ensuring they have the technical insights and budget clarity they need to succeed in the field.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
- The Experience: You have at least 2+ years in construction estimating. If you’ve worked in the commercial or educational sectors, you’ll have a significant head start.
- The Tech Stack: You should be a power user in Excel and have hands‑on experience with industry tools like Procore, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift.
- The Eye for Detail: You can spot a scope gap in a set of blueprints from a mile away. Your accuracy is your signature.
- The Communication: You can translate complex technical data into clear, actionable insights for clients and internal leadership alike.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is highly preferred, but your proven track record is what matters most.
