Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to support business development by developing detailed project cost estimates, collaborating with engineering and project teams, and ensuring proposals align with project requirements. This is an office-based position.

This role requires reading specifications, preparing takeoffs for materials, labor, and subcontractor costs, and maintaining organized documentation to help secure new bids.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of estimating or project costing in a construction or industrial setting.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods.
  • Occasionally may need to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, small equipment).

This role contributes to securing new business by ensuring competitive, thorough, and well-documented proposals. This is an office-based position.

Key Duties:
