Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting in Louisville, KY is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join a growing preconstruction team focused on mechanical piping and wet-side HVAC systems for projects from $100K to $45M. You will prepare estimates, perform takeoffs, review drawings and specs, and help manage 2–3 bids while collaborating with experienced professionals.

The role includes pre-bid site visits and close teamwork with project teams to identify gaps, risks, and price drivers to ensure accurate project

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience.
• Experience estimating commercial mechanical piping or wet-side HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Responsibilities
