VersaPro Restoration & Construction in Clinton Township, MI seeks an Insurance Restoration Estimator with strong Xactimate skills to produce accurate, detailed estimates for residential and commercial losses. You will inspect properties, prepare sketches and scopes, and collaborate with homeowners, managers, and insurance adjusters.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance restoration estimating, read plans well, and can manage multiple projects while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of insurance restoration estimating experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Xactimate (required).
• Experience with water, fire, storm, and reconstruction estimating.
• Strong understanding of insurance claims processes.
• Ability to read construction plans and perform accurate measurements.
• Ability to inspect residential and commercial roofs, including heights with fall protection.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• IICRC certifications are a plus but not required.

We are a rapidly growing, full-service restoration company seeking an experienced Insurance Restoration Estimator to join our team. If you have a strong background in insurance claims, Xactimate estimating, and residential/commercial restoration, we'd like to speak with you.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with customers and insurance professionals, and takes pride in writing accurate, detailed estimates.

Responsibilities

• Inspect residential and commercial properties following water, fire, storm, mold, vehicle impact, and other property losses.
• Create sketches, scopes of work, and photo documentation.
• Meet with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients.
• Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters.
• Review insurance carrier estimates and prepare supplements when necessary.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are properly scoped and handed off.
• Track estimate approvals and assist in converting opportunities into completed projects.
• Maintain organized documentation within company software.
• Respond to emergency losses when needed.
